Let Your Success Do The Talking

How to tune out the noise and stay on your path

You've probably heard the famous Jim Rohn quote:

"You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

This quote really came to light when I was first starting my online business journey...

You see, when friends and family are used to you in a certain 'role' in their life, an interesting shift happens when they see you making changes and leveling up.

Suddenly, your desire to grow makes them uncomfortable.

The people who once cheered you on, can suddenly start questioning you:

"Haven't you worked too hard to risk it all now?"

"Online business? Sounds risky, isn't that all just scams?"

"Isn't it a bit late to start over?"

Sound familiar?

Here's what I learned: People aren’t always doubting you.

They’re projecting their own fears.

They see your growth as a mirror - one that reflects the risks they never took…the dreams they never chased.

When I first started down this new path, not everyone understood. Some colleagues, friends, and family thought I was crazy to leave behind a solid career to start something new.

But here's the truth: Every step you're taking right now is proof you're different.

You're not just dreaming about change - you're actually out there creating it.

And you know what? Those skeptical voices from before?

...Now they’re asking me how they can do it.

So how do you stay focused when the people around you don’t believe in your path?

Here’s what helped me (and can help you too):

✅ Audit Your Circle: Who do you spend the most time with? Are they pushing you forward or holding you back? If it’s the latter, talk about other things with them and limit conversations about your goals.

✅ Find a ‘Growth’ Crew: You don’t have to cut people off, but you do need to balance the scales. Join a mastermind, an online community, or even just follow mentors who align with your vision.

✅ Let Your Results Do the Talking: You don’t need to convince anyone. Stay consistent, take action, and soon, the same people who doubted you will start asking, "How did you do it?"

Every successful entrepreneur has had to tune out the noise at some point.

So if you’re feeling like the only one who gets it, remember:

Your not alone in this journey.

💡 Keep showing up.

💡 Keep learning.

💡 Keep building.

The results will speak for themselves.

Remember why you started. That vision? It’s still valid.

It’s still worth fighting for!

You've already taken the hardest step by starting.

Now it's just about keeping that momentum…even if others might not understand (yet).
