I need to be honest with you.

For the past 7 months writing this newsletter, I’ve felt like I was only showing you part of the story.

Yes - The Owner Switch is about mindset, money, and owning your future.

But there’s been another layer I haven’t talked about.

You see, earlier this year, I started having panic attacks out of nowhere.

Terrifying ones. Alongside a string of strange symptoms I couldn’t explain.

I saw the doctor several times. Ran several tests.

And finally - I was diagnosed with perimenopause.

(Nobody ever told me you could start having menopause symptoms in your early 40’s 🤯)

After the diagnosis, at first I felt a little relief. Like maybe now I could “fix” it.

I started treatment. I thought: Okay. This will help.

I’ll get back to normal.

But what’s come next was something I was completely unprepared for.

Because this transition isn’t just hormonal. It’s identity-shaking.

My focus, memory, and motivation completely tanked.

It made my ADHD worse (which I was only diagnosed with a couple years ago and am still learning how to manage).

Things that once felt easy in business suddenly felt… impossible.

And the wildest part?

This rollercoaster can last 10 years or more.

(Yeah - I didn’t get that memo either.)

That’s when I started to realise:

👉 There’s not many people talking about this.

👉 Especially not ambitious women growing businesses while navigating it.

So here I am.

Still building. Still learning. Still showing up - even on the hard days.

And I’ve made a decision:

🧠 I’m going to start talking more openly about the intersection of entrepreneurship, ADHD, and perimenopause.

Not from a place of expertise - I’m not a doctor or a specialist in ADHD or hormones.

But from the trenches. Building and growing a digital business while navigating both, day by day - and sharing what’s actually helping me stay focused, afloat, and aligned (even when it’s messy).

Because I know I’m not the only one.

And I want more women to feel seen, supported, and understood - instead of ashamed, isolated, or thinking they’re somehow failing.

So here’s where this newsletter is going: 

I’ll still be sharing strategies to shift your mindset, master your money, and step fully into ownership of your time, energy, and income.

I’m still deeply committed to helping digital entrepreneurs who are building something real and freeing.

But I’ll also be talking openly about:

  • What it’s like to build with a busy, unfocused brain

  • How hormones affect motivation, confidence, and decision-making

  • The emotional side of showing up when your body or mind is working against you

  • And the tools, routines, and mindset shifts that I’ve found help

Because if we’re going to own our future, we have to stop pretending there’s a separation between our health and our work.

Who this newsletter is for:

  • Entrepreneurs navigating ADHD, hormone chaos, or unexplained burnout

  • People who are ambitious and exhausted - and wondering why it feels so hard

  • Women who want business advice from someone that gets what they’re going through

Because building and growing a business is hard enough.

And I want to make sure we’re talking about it.
